Blogging Strategies for Micro SaaS Owners

The idea to write this content came from my article titled “What is the Easiest Way to Grow a Micro SaaS?” Let’s get straight to the point.

There are some tactics for blogging. We don’t need to know everything. I’ll give you the critical points for free.

1. Include long-tail keywords in the page title, description, subheadings, within the text, in the image alt text, in the page link, and in the image link. For details, read the “Long Tail Keywords Are Your Friend!” text.
2. The best solution for finding keywords with minimal effort is Google Keyword Planner. It’s free. The metrics you should look for are low competition and between 10,000 and 100,000 monthly searches. Sometimes it may not be available. It’s very niche. But if it is, it’s great.

That’s it. Even this much will get you thousands of regular clicks. For example, in point 2, we only wrote low-competition terms, but you will already have high-competition terms in your writing or keywords.

Even if you don’t know SEO, the terms you write will be SEO-related and can work on their own.

Now, here’s a technique that will boost your content. Be consistent and build up your stock! Stock is very important.

Before starting the MicroSaaS.Art project, I created 600 blog post titles in Airtable about what I would write. I’m not kidding, check it out for yourself:

It took me about three weeks to do this. It was a real headache. Stock up on ideas. Then write.

When it comes to writing, if you have the chance, write immediately. Write without losing your motivation. Then plan. You’ll make real progress with those plans.

For example, I used to have to prepare for the university entrance exam, but at the same time, I was also making YouTube videos. There were three months left until the exam. I had to do both, but I didn’t know which one to prioritize.

My math teacher advised me to shut down my YouTube channel, even to stop using my computer and phone.

I had two options: choose YouTube or choose school. But I created a third option. Both together!

I was filming videos for YouTube every week. I calculated how many weeks had passed until the exam ended. Then I filmed, edited, and planned many of those videos. After that, I reduced my computer usage.

To be honest, I couldn’t quit completely. But I still got into university. For those who are curious, I got into the graphic design department. I’m a certified designer. 😎

Stockpiling and planning it out literally saves your life. 😄

In conclusion

1. Write SEO-friendly content.
2. Write when you feel motivated.
3. Plan your content so you can share it later.
