Let’s imagine you have a micro SaaS product. You have members in a freemium model. But your members stop interacting over time. They leave you. You don’t know why and you have no idea how to bring them back. What would you do?
When you face such situations, you must first define the problem comprehensively. I actually, wrote the problem while I was telling you.
“My members who are members of my Micro SaaS product in the freemium model lose their activity after a while.”
What do you want? Actually, you are saying that too. Find out why and learn how to bring it back.
How to Win Back?
It’s very simple. First, go ask why and ask what can happen to bring it back. That’s it. That’s the easiest way. The important thing here is detection. How will you detect it?
Create a column in your member record and name it “log-in date”. Every time someone logs in, update that day’s date to this login date. This way you can identify who logged in last and when!
You can also look at the dates and list those who haven’t logged in for 30 days. Or if you want a more professional process, then automate the whole process.
- If he hasn’t logged in for 14 days, send him something interesting.
- If he hasn’t logged in for 30 days, send him an email saying, “We miss you.”
- In 60 days, do something that will interest him again. Etc etc…
Instead of saying we miss you, you can also ask why. By the way, some people don’t like cold emails. If you want a higher return rate, send an email yourself. Manually. Approach like a human being. Be yourself. (Win back campaign)
