When we look at the etymology of the word Entrepreneur, we see that it combines 2 words. “Entre” and “Preneur“.
“Entre” Etymology
The word “Inter” in Latin has been translated into French as “Entre“. “In-” in the word “Inter” means to be in. “-ter” is a suffix. “Inter” means to be in or between. This is how it is translated into French.
The origin of the word “in” is a suffix derived in Proto-Indo-European. There is no exact information on how it was derived.
“Prendre” Etymology
The word “prendre” has also passed from Latin to French. It derives from the Latin root “prehendere“. Likewise, “prehendere” is formed by the combination of the words “prae-” and “hendere“. The first word here, “prae-“, means coming forward or being ahead. The word “hendere” is used in grasping, holding, tearing, or obtaining. I think we can translate “prehendere” as “to endeavor to come forward.” Of course, this is my opinion.
In Middle French, “prendre” is used to mean “to take” or “to invest“.

“Friendship” means the state of being friends.
What Makes a Person an Entrepreneur?
A person who can produce innovative and original ideas is called an entrepreneur, but this is not enough. Should also try to make a difference in the sector. Should be able to measure the competition and create a strategy. Must be able to take risks. Must be able to cope with uncertainty. Must be smart brave. It must be able to plan. Must be determined and be able to maintain the plan created with discipline. Must be able to cope with difficulties. Must also be able to cope with failure. Have a vision and talk to people with vision. They should be able to set long-term goals and implement them well. These are not enough, of course, on the other hand, one should be able to get along well with people, that is, one should have strong communication because one can do something with people. They should be able to solve problems as well as foresee problems. They should have financial knowledge and be able to manage all processes.
